Aer Lingus Refund for Reassigned seat

    Hi,

    Has anyone here ever paid for a certain type of seat on an Aer Lingus plane at acertain price, then had it reassigned at time of boarding to a seat at a lower price tier?

    The Aer Lingus site suggests that it should be possible to get a refund for the difference in this case, but the airlines are refusing to do this.

    Yes, you need to supply your boarding pass though
