Looking for some views on legal fees. I had an issue with my original solicitor who dealt with my house purchase and subsequently I had to hire a new solicitor. The new solicitor had to review my file and submit my application to the land registry to get the house transferred into my name. What fees would I expect to pay the new solicitor for reviewing my file and submitting this application? Stamp duty etc had been paid previously.
