    Hi All,
My mother has had Rheumatoid Arthritis for years, but on a recent visit to the GP, he told her that her iron in her blood is very low (the Rheumatoid in her blood was also very high) Anyone else hear of this?

Hi Ruskin, yes low iron is common in RA patients. The iron deficiency and the high inflammation levels are something she should talk to her rheumatologist about to see if an iron supplement or different RA medication is needed.
