Is there any place in tenerife that would suit a couples holiday mid 20s, peaceful and quite not near crowds of leaving cert people or loud noises

outside the capital santa cruz and the area in the south west ie playa de las americas/los cristianos/costa adeje where the irish/british tourists throng its actually quite a laid-back island for the most part. in truth from september till march/april the touristy towns are quiet too so thats the best time to visit the island..avoid may till august

san andrés is just north of the capital and easily accessible by public bus. it has the best beach on the island and doesn't usually attract the leaving cert crowd. a number of quieter small towns on the south/south east coast like los abrigos and el medano. on the other hand puerto de la cruz is a big town on the north coast but attracts people of an older age group. it has lots of amenities that the smaller villages obviously don't and is a easy base to explore the teide national park as public buses leave from there every day.

if tenerife isn't laid back enough just hop on the fast ferry at los cristianos harbour and take the short ride to la gomera which is well worth the visit if you are in that part of the world.

El Medano is a village 10 minutes from the airport and we stayed there because we wanted a bit of peace and quiet. It's only 15 or 20 mins by car to PdLA or Los C if you want a livelier night out. Plenty of hotels and apartment for rent.

we booked christian sur apartments for a break next easter. the owner now has emailed saying she has sold the apartment but the new owner will honour the booking. However she also offered another apartment she has also in los cristianos, in victoria court 1. obviously we were happy enough with the original booking but with the new owner unsure now (original owner had plenty of reviews on homeaway rentals). appreciate advise from anyone who has stayed in either complex. The fact that there is still availability for Easter for victoria court also causes us some concern. The apartments are not that far apart so from that perspective I don't suppose it will make much difference.
