    Hello,

I have a VW Golf MK5 with standard cd/radio. Is there any easy way to be able to play Spotify via the iPhone on the audio system I got in the car ? I dont want to change the radio/cd or do any work involving removing the unit etc.

Get an FM transmitter for your phone, should be able to pick them up very cheap on eBay or the like.

I use an fm transmitter in my mk5 golf and it's fine other than having to change the frequency every so often. The best option of the mk5 golf without changing the radio is to get the kit which connects directly into the cd changer connection at the back of the radio and is an aux connection at the other end. You are basically tricking the radio into thinking the aux in is a cd changer. You can get the kits on Amazon ebay etc I think you can get one of vw too although I've never properly looked into it.

What transmitter is it that you're using ?

This is the one I have it has a button where it searches for a clear station and then you just tune your radio to that. Overall I think my one is fine but I do find that if you are driving long distance one county to another to another you have to change the frequency abit. It's still ultimately the easiest way to listen to music on the radio but has its drawbacks.
