Hi guys, our stopcock has become faulty resulting in the water not stopping the filling in the tank.

If you manually lift the stopcock it stops filling.

Any ideas of how to fix it or find a replacement?

It seems to be faulty at the hinge beside the blue thing.

It is the ballcock that is faulty, Chadwicks on Boghall road should have the valve that requires replacing or you could try Woodies but as they are a DIY it will be more expensive. Only a few euro either way.

Is the ball filling with water and sinking down?
    If so replace it.
If it is not rising sufficiently to stop the flow you could either adjust it with the nut ( if fitted) or bend the arm slightly. Not to hard in case it breaks.

If this does not resolve then replace the valve.
