    Hi,
Was thinking of buying a house in Straffan Wood, Maynooth and was looking for information.
Is the area good? Quiet? Anyone know of any problems in the area?
Amy information would be appreciated. Thanks!

There's no cable available and when I was living there, no efibre either so it was 7mbit DSL broadband or nothing. Houses have terrible sound insulation and the original spec teak windows will have rotted to ****e if not maintained properly - and most weren't.

Rented there for years and it wasn't great. The houses are very poorly constructed with poor insulation and paper thin walls. Only option for TV at the time was Sky and the ISP was WiMax so not great in that respect. Car parking space was always an issue as well.

We ended up buying in Moyglare Hall and are very happy.
