Hi I'm wondering if there is a legal term for

'being bound by a contract to carry out an action'

I have searched google but I am unsure whether the results are accurate.

    Any help is appreciated

Bound seems the right term to me, there is such a thing as an Order of Specific Performance, if that's what you mean.

    Contractually obliged?

Yeah, I read some contract law a while ago and what the poster above said seems to fit the purpose

Yeah sounds like "Contractual obligation" would be the correct term (as per Kayroo above)
