i'd rather trust my eyes i.e. if the camera is not working you will know it, if it is working you can see the cows.

if the moocall is not working, how do you know until maybe its too late!!!

Know nothing about moocall, but a lad in our group keeps a small flock of pedigree texels. He was working in Galway one day and checked the shed camera on his phone. He was able to zoom in and see a hogget was lambing, triplets as it turned out with the first coming breech, he called a neighbour to lamb her and all turned out well in the end.

The value of being able to see what's going on when you're not there. I'd go for a good quality camera.

I'm having similar debates in my head. I'm starting to lean towards a camera though. Moocall is expensive and we could be waiting on 5/6 cows at a time. One Moocall wouldn't be enough, is my reckoning.

The cameras grand once broadband is good in your area. But around me its a waste of time. Plus your paying for it for a good spell of the year when it's not in use. I'm ordering a single moo-call just to see how it goes and il post back.
