    hi folks,

    Our house search has changed a bit.
    Looking at putting an extension like on the left onto the house on the right in the attached photo.
    Also is there any reason why none of them seem to come all the way out to the back wall ? Surely building the back wall of the upstairs on top of the existing wall would be easier than

    Any guestimates ?

    that pitch is way too shallow for a standard slate or tile roof.

    youd have to use a metal roof like a profiled steel sheeting

    clearly either of these would be a better job.

    they would be pricier I guess ?
