Hi, has anyone a suggestion for a remote login tool to access an idle home laptop from work?

    I'm assuming it's a windows box.
If you can set up port forwarding and have the correct windows version at home then remote desktop comes built into windows and every windows machine has the client. If you don't have the correct windows version then VNC server/client (example Tight VNC).
Failing all above then a paid service like LogMeIn works and is very easy to use.

Btw; is been some time since I've used VNC or a web service so there may be better alternatives.
