Importing Criterion Collection Blurays

I know this topic has come up a few times before, but I'm finally trying to get hold of a region free Bluray player and I just want some up-to-date advice before I start importing these films.

If I buy from the Amazon.co.uk Marketplace will I have to pay any kind of import duty. And how about if I buy from Barnes & Noble? Also, the delivery times are estimated at between 3 and 21 days. Is there an average, particularly in relation to Barnes & Noble?

    Thanks.

Yes, if the order is coming from outside the EU (as will be the case with most Criterion sellers) and costs more than 22 euro, you are liable for VAT, duty and probably a handling charge.

I had good experiences with an Ebay seller called blowitoutahere. Not customs friendly but good prices and fast shipping. Place the orders separately to keep them under 22 euro.

B&N orders are unpredictable. An order placed today could arrive under 3 weeks. An order placed tomorrow could take 2 months. Don't bother with them except for the sales.

Also if you're buying from Barnes & Noble just order one at a time (since they mostly work out at 20 dollars a piece) to dodge import charges.
