Hostel for 5 people in Amsterdam

Folks, 5 of us stopping off in Amsterdam for 3 nights in May. We're as happy staying in a Dorm in a hostel. Know absolutely nothing about Amsterdam, we're just stopping off there because it's on our way anyway. Folks,

Know absolutely nothing about Amsterdam, we're just stopping off there because it's on our way anyway.

Can anyone recommend a decent hostel, our only requirement is that it's clean, youthful (ie. good craic) and close to drinking spots / nightlife / pubs etc.

Ps. Yes, plan on researching before we land there, but if we could at least get accommodation out of the way it'd be a good start
