Sounds to me like some complaints have been made regarding a certain hospital/doctor/department, and they're following up with other patients to make sure they're ok.

Sounds like a doctor lost his wristwatch...

I'm sure it's just a routine thing - the fact they want to meet in the outpatient clinic's good. It's not like some nigerian phone scam thing!
