Just came across the trailer below for "Get Even" on Youtube and surprised I haven't seen or heard of it before. The trailer is supposedly using in game graphics (might take you a minute to realise it's not real :D).

Details about the game are pretty scarce but IGN describes it below.
    IGN wrote:
A new breed of first-person action game, Get Even subtlety removes the classic division between single-player and multiplayer experiences to unfold two linked stories. The game’s plot revolves around the memories of its central heroes which have a dramatic effect on how the game progresses. The route the player chooses to follow determines their personality as the game unfolds. The carefully crafted storyline mixes elements of thriller and horror with exploration. As these personality traits are revealed, the merging of single-player and multiplayer elements tighten. When players embark on a single-player mission, others on the network can join the quest as enemies, so players never know whether their opponents are human or CPU-based. This suspense further heightens the player’s feeling of a threat.

To create the photo-realistic visuals that bring the gritty universe to life, Get Even is the first game to use large-scale, real-world scanning to create expansive and lifelike environments. This 3D scanning technology combines with advanced lighting effects to create a stunning and believable world that pushes the boundaries of the genre.

So while it looks great and sounds extremely confusing, who here wants to bet this is going to be another Watch Dogs style downgrade? :D I just can't imagine the entire game having graphics like displayed in this trailer.

The game appears to be using Thorskan 3D, a tech that was reported on by a few sites back in January. I'll believe it when I see the actual game in motion as opposed to that odd mismash of live action, in-game and pre-rendered footage.

This isn't Watch Dogs like, this is Unlimited Detail like. Sure, the tech exists, but it's not going to be used in the manner in which it's being advertised.

The trailer could be running using in-game graphics, but on a PC. PS4 or X1 hasn't a hope of running a game that looks like that. How many hundreds of 'in-game' trailers have we seen over the years that turned out to look nothing like they first promised....it's getting almost ridiculous at this stage actually.
