Mods This might be in the wrong thread!! Baby 5 months old, added on to my Laya Insurance policy last week. The Dr informed me today he might have a small problem which could need surgery. I am wondering is there a waiting period for a baby of this age. I know he should have been put on at birth but thats no good now.

The waiting periods when not added at birth are same as adult: 6 months for non preexisting conditions and 5 years for pre existing. In saying that just ring and ask... It's the most definitive answer you will get. I really hope I'm wrong.
