When you submit medical expenses claim (as I just did online for 2014) does it automatically do a P21 for you or do you have to request a P21 separately?

    Thank you.

Provided they have your pay & tax on file for the year the health expenses claim will automatically generate a P21.

Edit - if your submission went through online either the pay & tax is there or you input it, so yeah, the P21 will be on the way.
