How much should I expect to pay for rental of a three bay slatted shed for a year on top of the rent.

On top of rent I take to mean you've the land rented already.

I'd say very little or nothing as it can't be rented to anyone else. An extra few 100 to keep in with landlord

It could be rented to someone else like a b and b situation http://www.teagasc.ie/faol/livestockBestPractice/livestockTraceability/beef/daf_Guidelines_BandB.asp

Exactly, I have my sheds on a separate land parcel for segregation and any lad who would think taking the land means sheds would come cheap would be swiftly put to rights. In the years gone by, land was rented from April to end October annually, and sheds from November to end march, 2 completely separate leases;)
