Is my LNB on the blink?

I have 4 feeds from my quad LNB/80cm dish.
    a + b feeds run to tv.
c to set top box 1.
    d to stb2.

The tv can record and watch another channel so a+b feeds are fine (65% quality).
stb1 works fine with feed c (85% quality).
However, feed d to stb2 intermittently works (always gone in the morning, returns by afternoon - sunlight drying out cable/LNB?).
BBC1 tends to fade out first, channel 5 hangs in the longest.
(Both set top boxes are working cos if I switch them to cable c, they both work fine)

Before I clamber up onto the roof, to start swapping cables around, to see if its a compromised cable e.g. wet/damaged, I'm wondering if it could be an LNB problem.

Also, bit weird how I get a different quality reading depending on tv/set top box used.

I'd try 4 shiny new f type connectors first, and weather-proof them while you're up there
I doubt it's one faulty leg on the Lnb but it's possible.
Different boxes / tvs could be giving you readings from different reference transponders, so they can vary.
