Hello still laughing as I only now have figured out people pronounce babieliss..

Anywho has anyone on here tried out the new curler. I have looked at online reviews it doesn't look bad. But since they are so pricey I would like to hear do the curls last all that goes.. Thanks in advance.

I was wondering that too. I have read some great reviews and some horror story of people getting their hair trapped in them. I keep hoping that one of my local hairdressers would get one in so I could try it out without having to invest big money of it is not for me.

Yeah, I am not into products and that but I must say I do like a good curler. I have a thongs which works great but I would have to flip my hair upside down normally to get to curl all of it. This looks so simple, you put it in and it does the work (no pun intended there) but I wonder too the way the chunky part is does that mean that you cannot bring the curl close to the top of you head or scalp?

My sister keeps mention one that they have in the Amsterdam airport it is more like a wand and she said we could get two of them for the price of the babylisss one

I saw on on display in Arnotts and to be honest one of the things that struck me was how difficult it would be to use on the back of the head. The display model was clipped to the counter so I could not pick it up to try it out and as it was Christmas time it was too busy to ask a member of staff.

From what I have read the hair needs to be put in, in a precise way or else can get caught this is what is putting me off as I am not sure I would be able to do it at the back of my head.

ohh the horror if it got stuck!! Yeah I can see how their could be some flaws... Hopefully someone will have tried one on here

Ive used it and it was only ok i thought. The cyrls are quite small, and i've long thick hair so it didnt look great. I have bought the instyler and would much prefer it, it give you more control.

Is this the one that sucks the hair in?

Freaks me out tbh, would be worried about my hair frying in it.

I got the ceramic one which was 109 in boots, theres a one for around 70 in argos but its made with titanium something or other - i reckoned i'd go with the ceramic as i reckon thats the best for my hair!

For reference i used my friends babyliss and shes now sorry that she got that instead of the instyler. So i would definetely recommend the instyler before it! If you can at all try and borrow one before you purchase, at least you'll know what would suit you better then!

Love my Babyliss Pro Curler for speed.

As long as you don't use try to put in too large a section and start a couple of inches from your scalp, you'll be fine.

How do you find doing the back of your head? Is it heavy to use?

Not really, it's about the same as a hairdryer.

Use a hairspray or dry in some mousse first to give it extra body & hold. Make sure you let the curl cool completely before brushing out. If you have time, pin the curls in place whilst doing your make-up/get dressed.

I got the babyliss perfect curl for Christmas 2013 and I love it. Never had an issue with hair getting caught in it. I really do get "perfect" curls every time I use it. :P

I got it as a Christmas present from my fiancé and I find it great. Really easy to use and I've never gotten my hair stuck. Here's some pics of my hair done with it.
