Dishwasher not Draining Water

    Hi,

I got a dishwasher that is refusing to drain - except out it's door and on to my kitchen floor.

Can anyone advise on what might be the problem?

I had a plumber in but he just checked for blockages at the connection under the sink and said that's as far as his expertise went..

Thanks in advance for any replies!

the only part to make a machine empty is the draining pump, which is located at the end of the drain hose which is probably blocked by glass/bone etc,it needs to be opened and restriction removed, most machines accessed from underneath, some from within the d/w depending on make
