We're travelling out of the eurozone on holidays this year and I'm just wondering what's the best way to spend money? I have credit and debit cards and will need to pay for some of the hotels on arrival so it'll be a good few bob.

Some countries ouside Eurozone will have a €150 per day or less ATM withdrawl limit set by your bank. The hotels will have no problems accepting credit cards for any amount provided your card is within its credit limit.

Preload your credit card with some cash and use online banking to keep topping it up to withdraw from atms. Cheaper than debit card.

Make sure what ever country you are going to accepts your credit and debit card. I know cuba used to have issues with american providers for example.

Just be aware that if your card is stolen you will not have protection for the amount preloaded on your card, so it's a bit of a risk.
