Can anyone tell me do you have to use smokeless coal in this area? or is conventional coal allowed?

    Thanks.

Smokeless. The fane is more or less a boundary around there. Anything North of it is the smokeless zone.

Try get the epa to actually enforce it

An in-law of mine moved there recently and wasn't sure if "smokey" coal was permitted, so it is a smokeless zone but mostly ignored??

I can't say if it is ignored or not.

But the EPA are quite hard to get to enforce things outside of 9am to 5pm I find.
