Vat for client in the US

I will be doing some video editing work for a business in America from here in Ireland. Vat is 13.5% for editing I think. I can't seem to get an answer as to whether vat applies in this case or not though. I called revenue but they weren't very helpful. I did find some info on their website under vat>supply of services.…
