Moving Eircom eFibre F1000 Router away from socket

A friend of mine would like to move the router into the next room - maybe 15 ft or so - are there any likely problems from using a longer lead from the socket to the router - is the lead just an ordinary phone lead as before?

Use straight through ethernet not crappy phone cable. 5M of decent cable won't cause a noriceable drop off
