I was just wondering what's AH's opinion on this?

There is probably another thread on this over in soccer but you have to be a member of the forum there to post and I couldn't be arsed going through that.

So what do you think? I feel it's capitalism gone crazy and I think it won't improve the quality as grassroots won't see **** all of this or the fans won't benefit with a decrease in ticket prices. Jamie Carragher will benefit though:P

if it pays for lesson to get all them asreholes that post on facebook over every little thing to do with man utd/Liverpool tp grow up and realise that its just a game and no matter how much they try...they'll never be from England its money well spent:mad::mad:

Yes but it is newsworthy to the public with the astronomical sums involved and I want to get the opinion of the people that don't follow football:)

The league has been dying for years and this just speeds up the process

1. Failure gets rewarded more than ever now. Plod along finish 17th and get over 100 million. The socialists on here should love this

2. Don't do anything stupid like win a cup it could hold you back next season by putting you in the Europa league

3 if you're a top "top" team try and finish 4th. It's financially more rewarding than 1st, 2nd or 3rd
