Will this get caught for customs charges?

ships from america so yes i presume you take a gamble with customs but even then it would be about 25 euro which still makes it cheaper than buying it here

Gearbest ships from China not the US. Often routed through Post NL. It's hit and miss on whether you will get stopped by customs. If so, the box is not liable for Duty, but is liable to VAT of around €13 and an An Post handling fee of around €7. Expect 4 weeks between order and delivery.

Customs is €19 something on these, ordered one before Xmas.

Looked like a great deal for €63, but not as much after customs was added.

Played around with it for a few hours, found its a solid system but doesnt do anything my phone/tablet doesnt and has been back in the box since. Must actually try shift it on adverts.
try running openelec on it.its a linux version of xbmc.its much better

Be wary of that. It's on your purchase cost, not just some flat rate charged by customs. So the cheaper you buy it, the cheaper the VAT from Irish Customs. You need to provide proof of purchase. Mine ended up €80ish all in after customs charges of around €11 from memory. Still significantly cheaper than buying on the likes of Adverts.

Cost you around €22 including An Post's extortionate 'handling' fee

It is awesome for movie streaming and i would recommend getting an air mouse rather than the standard remote control that comes with it....

You wont need to screencast as you will have this plugged directly into you TV???

Try Yatse app on your phone first first before you get an air mouse.

Does getting suppliers to mark it as gift not work to avoid customs?
