Thai Visa from Dublin

    Hey guys.

My girlfriend is waiting for her new passport to arrive. Should be here tomorrow.

My question is about applying for a double entry visa for Thailand, as we leave on 28th Feb.

We've gotten one of these visas before (2 years ago), but I can't remember how long it takes to receive the visa (once we send off for it).

Does anyone know how long it would usually take?

Kinda panicking now a little in case there's not enough time before we fly out on 28th of the month.

Took less than a week for me last year.

Don't think I'd risk it this late just in case. Just get the visa on arrival and border hop if necessary.

Thailand have really cracked down on the visa runs since the coup so don't rely on a "border hop", you could ring the consulate and tell them your predicament. How long are you going for? If it's less than 30 days you don't need a visa at all.
