Ebay concert tickets

Figured I might ask this here as well, but just wondering if anyone has experience with buying tickets from ebay. I bought a couple of standing tickets for a concert on the 25th of this month for face value. Hard copies, seller since 2002 with 100% feedback and paid with paypal. They've been dispatched so just waiting on delivery. Just in case there's an issue with them, like the seller says they never received them and gets reprints from ticketmaster (although I've seen on the TM site they don't issue replacements for standing/GA tickets for safety reasons), are ebay/paypal ok with refunds? the FAQ seems to say so but has anyone else had to deal with a refund like that? It'd still be within the 45 days to make a claim if they turn out to be dodgy.

    Cheers!

I had tickets not arrive in time for a gig. I got a full refund via paypal with no trouble.

I thought the person may have been scamming but they did arrive a day too late. They were e-tickets. I thought it was a scam since I asked them to forward the pdf so I could print it out myself and they refused.

I rang TM and they would not give any info, after badgering them over and over they did check the ticket code and confirmed there were no other queries about the ticket in question (e.g. were others ringing up asking similar).

I felt bad for the seller but I had asked numerous times to just send the pdf, dunno why they didn't. And they had paid extra for special fast delivery.

As yours are "hard tickets" the seller could only scam to get those back again, I would guess real scammers would go for PDF tickets.

'The item you purchase must be a physical, tangible good that can be shipped.'

    'Items purchased off eBay:
Items are eligible unless they are excluded below:
Real estate, motor vehicles, capital equipment, travel tickets, and events tickets
    Intangible items
    Services
Items purchased using PayPal Payments Pro or Virtual Terminal
You may not file a dispute for a Personal Payment'

If you receive and eticket then you are not covered by Paypal. The terms and conditions also mention events tickets but I think they are okay provided the ticket is a hard copy delivered to you.

I have no idea the seller did not send the tickets by PDF as well as the actual tickets
