I know about Vecoxan 'which is very expensive' Is there any other dose I could use?

Also the lick buckets for cocci but I don't really think there effective as the lambs don't really consume enough.

I heard about powder that you can put through the creep which might help but don't know the brand?

And I'm aware of moving the sheep regularly to avoid the mucky areas.

Any other suggestons that would keep cocci at bay?

There is another dose called baycox but i dont know is it any cheaper........The buckets i thought could be only got up the north and the stuff through the creep has to be put in by the feed company i think?

Over on "the farming forum" they seem to get on well with the buckets, where did you get them and are they the denis brincombe ones?

Baycox is dearer than vecoxan last time I priced, you can get the cocci tubby buckets off Dessie Donohoe in Meath, don't have his number to hand and haven't used them either

I would not worry about the price of Vecoxan, I don't think you have an option. Cocci is a disease of intensification, if its on the farm sooner or later lambs and calves will pick it up. If you can get the 2.5 litre it should be more cost effective.
