Sash to Casement: Joiner or Window Fitter?

If having wooden sash window frames replaced with uPVC casement frames, generally do you think there would be a significant difference in the quality of the work if employing persons employed by a glazing company who are window-fitters by trade to carry out this work; or alternatively using time-served joiners, who are also employed by a glazing company to fit windows?

    Thanks!

How will you know? Will it say on the Safe Pass?

I would ask the installation company before I choose one if they will be using window fitters or time-served joiners.

guess the real question you should be asking is are your timber sash windows in a protected structure and do you need permission to replace them with pvc
