Good God. Windows XP. That's actually depressing.

    Beats the appalling Vista.

Some users have paid MS to continue support for XP.

This is Ireland, and it's the Gardaí. It's Windows XP.

Leaving aside its now unsupported status, XP was stable, operated on relatively low resources and not a fruit salad tile display like later iterations. Oh and insert vague mumbles of dissent (based in part on fictional TV shows like NCIS) on facial recognition as it impinges on personal privacy.

Most computers in stations are on Windows 7 as far as I know. Certainly all PULSE ones.

There was nothing wrong with NT. Why, Microsoft, why?

You lot are nerds, a thread about facial recognition and a single reference after the OP to it. Other than that you're talking about windows! :P

There's even an IT/Legal crossover pun!

Sadly not as the discussion is about windows not like a real IT system like ...
