garage roof

    Hi folks.
    Im going building a 8 x 6m garage with a A roof and just pricing it up now.im wondering if anyone could give me some info regarding the price difference between roofing it with slate or putting insulated cladding up on it.

    Wouldn't have figures off top of my head would imagine around 50 or 60% sheeting over slate. No contest which I'd rather look at but that's subjective I guess. With that size garage you'll have planning though and it usually says it should be same as house or as close as practically possible

    No doubting which is the cheapest, Decking, But it does look industrial and won't add any value to the property.
    Where as a matching Roof and build to match the House will always add value. Don't forget to build it using a Double leaf wall and cavity. Otherwise you'll be buying tools and lawnmowers every few years.
    Best advice I can give is to do it once and do it right. you'll have it for a long time.
