    Finger length that is.

Actually the ratio between your index and ring fingers.

A study published in the journal Biology Letters compared the 2D:4D (2nd digit vs. 4th digit) lengths of individuals to identify who may be more likely to be promiscuous and who would be likely to stay faithful.
The shorter the index finger in relation to the ring finger (the 2D:4D ratio), the higher the levels of testosterone that person is likely to have been exposed to while developing in the womb, and the greater their sexual promiscuity will be as an adult. This is true for both men and women.

So, I wonder how many of you had just looked at their index finger vs. ring finger lengths after reading this. ;)

What if they're both shorter than each other?

What if they're both shorter than each other?

In that case you could make money out of it by joining a sideshow!

This reminds me of a joke I heard about a man who worked in a sawmill.
One day he phones his wife in a panic and says "darling, I've had a terrible accident, I've lost a finger".
"Was it the whole finger" she asks.
"No, darling", he replies, "the one beside it".

Finger length doesn't matter if you look like a buses arse.

As most of these so called Playas frequently do

It's not the length, it's what you do with it.

It's not just about length, some like a wide girth also!

My index finger is slightly longer then my ring finger and I'd consider myself the faithful type....so these findings are true.:pac:

Did you measure from the base though? That's important? Make sure you measure everyone from the base.

My index finger is a good bit shorter that my ring finger on both hands, actually. Hmmmm.

On my right hand the index finger ends about where the nail begins on the ring finger but on the left hand the index finger is only slightly shorter than the ring finger.

I'd consider myself faithful when in a relationship but promiscuous when not which seems to be reflected by this.

You could use this at speed dating events or ask on online dating sites to include a picture of the other's hands. Including a scale/ruler in the image.

My ring finger is slightly longer on my right hand, noticeably longer on my left. Never cheated once, so there! Science, pah. :D

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
