Low Cost Holidays - Flights

I booked flights with ryanair through low cost holidays. They were cheaper than booking direct with ryanair. That was back in December and I paid €178 for 2 flights. I got a confirmation email from low cost holidays and it said they would send the flight details before the trip. I got an email tonight with my reservation number. I logged into manage my booking on the Ryanair site and seen that the price paid for the flights was €323. The price if I booked today directly with Ryanair would be €323. Now I'm not complaining, I have not been charged anything extra but I'm just curious how this works? How did I pay €178 but it says on Ryanair that I paid €323?
