hair cut question

    Hey,
everytime I get my hair cut it ends up rather thick at the ends, probably because it is cut straight across. Next time when getting my hair cut, in order for the ends to be different lengths or thinner, what should I ask for? A certain cut or specific layers?
    Thanks

I find bringing in a picture of exactly what you want is very effective, especially if you've a trusted hairdresser that can listen & is talented enough to do a good cut.
