Hopefully the right place, apologies if not.
We are thinking of having a wedding in Kinnity castle but from what I can gather (using google) they are in receivership, I cannot find much info about it on line but it appears they have been in receivership for 6 or 7 years, is that even possible? question is, would it be risky to be booking a wedding here, could we lose our deposit and even our day, I am assuming that if they have been in receivership for so long ( they must be making money)that they will continue to trade? or is that stupid on my part?, I'm sure if that happened, one could get over losing the deposit but ruining your wedding day?, any advice would be appreciated.

I'd be paying by credit card. Least I'd have some protection. Get a credit card with 0% interest. Pay the deposit today and walk into a bank tomorrow and use cash to pay off the balance of the card.
