Leap Top up Question

I topped up a leap card last week online and I was cycling past the luas station today and remembered I have to present the card to the machine to pass it onto the card. I did it but just now thinking, does the machine now think that I am on the luas and is going to take a fare off it.
    Thanks

Yes. It regards it as a tag on for a journey.

If you place the card in the reader on the ticket machine it will update without tagging you on, same at Irish Rail machines

Will that also show how much is left on the card?

The machine will automatically display your current balance and product information when the card is presented.

The update occurs before the screen is displayed
