    what kind of alloys can i put on a bora and how much would it cost ? looking for big maybe 17 or 18 inch ? donedeal links if u can and in munster

    Search 5x100 on done deal and see what you like.

    I wouldn't go crazy on size, especially is its one of the smaller petrols as the bigger when won't help the gearbox.

    If you can get a good brand or even original VW wheels. Copies vary wildly in quality.

    yep gearbox gives trouble on the boras with big wheels.id stick to 15" or maybe 16"that would be it.

    Not to mention ride quality and driveability. i went from 14s to 15s on a golf and you could notice she wasnt quite as comfortable on the road as it had less of a side wall.
    I drive a 320 bmw in 15s and 17s . It was rotten on 17s . Every bump you went over the car wanted to follow the bumps . you were constantly adjusting , wasnt nice to drive, you couldnt relax
