Hi we just got our house renovated, and extended our kitchen in back so now after construction the back gargen is destroyed there are tiny stones and some cement and machinery moving there so many bumps before it used to be grass in there. we planed to put some pation stone one part and grass in other half and mix of decorative stones and raised flower bed , so the questino is should i dig all the mud from the garden and throw out or some one suggested me to get one ton of top soil and put on top it and plane it.

So how should i do it and cost effective
    thanks
