They are all good in some ways and bad in others, and the positive/negative experiences people have had with one someone else will tell you they have had with another. There's no real good/bad one, but, the general concensus is that Gaydar is sleazy and more sex obsessed than somehting like OKCupid or Plenty of Fish.

It all comes down to what exactly you're looking for personally. Make profiles on a few and increase your chances. Not everyone is on the same site and many don't use them at all.

Scruff has a good balance. Grindr is mostly trash anyway. Both of these are apps but Scruff definitely has people looking for dates and a relationship.

OKCupid hands down has been the best I've used for all aspects for sex, relationships etc.

OP, case in point. "Grindr is mostly trash anyway" and yet I met my boyfriend on there and we've been going out nearly a year. See? Don't write anywhere off and try them all, you just never know!

It comes down to the people who use them. I've seen guys I've dated say on their profiles that they're ready to settle down, and on another site stricylu NSA only. So go around and don't knock anyone off on anything app/site just because it might have a preconcieved reputation.

Coincidently I've given up on apps and sites, too much bs when it comes down to it for me! *points at Tinder* xD

Ah tinder. The greatest time waster of all time. Great for quick sexy bursts but boy God I spent too much time flicking left and right.

I've been on a few dates from it and met some lovely jovely lads on it. But it's essentially like Facebook; people put the best of the best on display and talk the talk but I didn't find myself compatible with anyone I did end up going on a date with.

Again, I know lots of people in relationships from it. But I've spent too much time swipping to go back anytime soon....

...hopefully I'll last till the weekend :pac:

Good for you, but it is still by and large ineffective at finding friends or dates. I had mine clearly saying 'looking for friends, have a partner, not hunting guys' and every day kept getting the same useless 'where u, top or bottom'. Have had much more success on several other sites. Grindr has the reputation it has for a reason. It doesn't mean there is a zero chance but it's not where I would look first.
