Sky give you everything you need when you order it.They will run the 2nd wire alongside the existing wire coming from your dish. It's just the normal dish except there's 2 wires coming from it to your sky box rather than one

If there is two cables coming to sky box, this is a problem

I only have one cable coming down to sitting room , so how does the second one get sent down ?

Did sky run the original cables? They would need to run a second cable depending on how it was done before they may use the same path or they may run it a different way, This could mean drilling a hole in the wall for the cables to run through. Anytime iv had them out they have be neat and tidy but if you don't like this option you may not be able to get plus

Ring sky and get them to add sky+ to your account (free) and order multi room . They will send someone out to do the whole lot for you and make sure it's working correctly.

Defently better to have sky do it, depending on the age of the dish they may need to replace bits and most likely you can grab i9t all for free
