The Merc went for £2,600. I had a lower bid on it, but was cautious about bidding on something I've never seen in the flesh or heard running so I dropped out. Also the issue of getting it back here with COVID rampant in the UK etc. etc.
Absolute steal at that money but buying in the UK at the moment is mad for many reasons
This looks like a cracker. Japanese imported 300E, though it's in the UK for at least 15 years. Nice spec too, I nearly prefer these without leather.
MOT history looks good for the most part. £4,000 but seller is open for bargaining. If you could get this registered here for €6,000 all in, then I reckon it's great value and a real keeper.
Original BMW 328i SE
Fair price. Give it another 10 year and it's a 10k car.
1990 Mercedes W124 300TE-24. Probably the greatest estate car ever made. Yours for £9,000.
1989 BMW 735i in Lisburn for £2,900. FWIW it has an MoT to 10/21. Very cheap, maybe too cheap? Has poor photos which might be hiding something but it's worth a call. Same owner for 19 years, so I'll assume for now it's a NI reg. Would still be cheap with a GB reg on it. Seems to have most of the bells and whistles with it as well.
RHD Lotus Esprit with the 268 bhp engine. 1988 car and in Germany since 2007 so only €200 VRT. Can get a new TUV on it, subject to some agreement, but eyes open as it could be an export TUV which is useless here. Very good price for what it is, though I'm not a fan of the colour.
With V6 motor, doesn’t state what it’s from would hurt the value.
I'd say that's a typo. The bhp and the cc are correct. Odd mistake to make, looking at his dealers page he has only youngtimers and classics for sale. Seems to get good reviews.
Isn't the non turbo just 170BHP? Not a fast car. But it looks fast 😂
That's a turbo he's selling if it has 268 bhp. I had the same car back around 1997. It's fast. Looks fast standing still too. I got 250 km/h on it several times on the Autobahn (I was living there at the time).
Colour is very strange though.
He doesn't mention it's the turbo. Which seems strange. Are there any clues to give away that it is?
Seller says it has a 268 bhp engine which makes it a turbo.
Yeah he also says it's a V6 😂
Has potential, could be got for zero I think.
Friend of mine says that these are great cars. Plus duty plus plus VAT and €5590 VRT and tax makes it very expensive!
The Jag/Duratec v6 is a common conversion.
Could it be this one?
That's because it's not vintage? What is difference if it was vintage.?
Can you break it down..
£1100 = €1300. Plus 10% duty plus 23% VAT plus €740 VRT plus €4850 NoX tax as it stands
£1100 = €1300. Plus 10% duty plus 23% VAT plus €200 VRT as a vintage
Thats the way I see it.
I did email him, asked if it's free to a good home, he didn't say no, he said '' you're welcome to make a offer''
This would be cool, for 2k euros tops, I THINK he is asking just to ask.
That Mitzi might not be a bad buy. The weak spot on those were chocolate manual gearboxes. That one is auto.
With a bit of hard haggling this could be landed here for a little over €7,000. It might seem lot for a Mk1 Discovery, but I think these are going to be expensive going forward. VRT comes back at €1370, then you've the Brexit taxes. But is it worth €7K ? Tax it for 6 months annually and you still have €3K to fork out on that until it's 30 years. Has LPG to soften the blow.
Has the V8 and the manual is the more desirable for a small but significant number of people. Has it's leather, A/C etc. and seems to be near fully loaded for the year.
Short MOT to Jan 2022, the last reports seem to indicate there was substantial rust but seems to be resolved.
I've been looking at getting one, preferably a 3 door 89-91 one, but there's nothing here or in NI and anything else cheap in the UK is a diesel or a dog (or both). I won't bite but I don't think it's as bad as it sounds.
1992 Audi 80 2.3 85000 km €8950 Cayennerot red ..
Not sure if I posted this a few months ago, he's been selling it for a while and now seems to be in a hurry to get rid. One the good side it looks to be rust free and in very good condition and it's only €1,100. On the minus side it's a 1.2 Swing.
It's 3,200 km away in Malta, which is good and bad, depending on whether you fancy a road trip in winter, but you could get stuck somewhere due to COVID.
Buy car for €1000, spend €1000 on a mini holiday / roadtrip bringing it back including all costs like VRT / NCT and sell it here and make a €1000 profit. If I wasn't so busy right now, I would be up for that no probs 😂
Some find KevRossi!
Asking a lot, But it's unique for sure
This looks cool.
Is that car made in uk, does that mean no duty
That would be a cool classic for the snow in the mountains
