Deleted Sky+ recordings

    Only just realized this feature stores all deleted stuff, I never knew....stuff still there I deleted over 2 yrs ago......do they remain indefinitely until permanently deleted and does it take up HD space

    The stuff that's deleted will generally be removed when the space set aside for it is full. It's a great feature to have.

    it's on the reserved part of the hdd is it

    Yes it is. You'll notice that if you remove everything from the deleted section the hdd space will remain unchanged.

    yeah was thinking that, well more the other way round, when you delete something your usable space goes back up.
    is a good feature alright

    As others have said, any deleted content will remain on the HDD until the box runs out of relevant space.
