I'm hoping to become a pilot and the training costs around 100,000euro. Is it possible to get a loan for this

Isn't it slim pickings for available jobs? Can't see it happening. Would have thought most schools may have financing agreements in place.

AIB had an arrangement with one of the pilot schools here but I think that the arrangement lapsed a few years ago

Unfortunately not, you'll have to earn it yourself like the rest of us. It's more achievable than you might think.

Depends what the loan is for, if it's secured against anything, if there's a guarantor, lots of variables.

Would you consider joining the RAF or Irish Air Corp? Make cash and earn your wings so to speak.
