Hi guys, I'll get straight to the point.

I'm just coming to the end of a higher diploma in computing, and part of the course is a 6 month industry placement beginning in May in any IT environment.

I have so far had no luck in even getting a response bar one or two refusals and time is running out.

Does anyone else have any experience with trying to give away your labour for free?

I am based in Galway but willing to move to any other part of the country to complete my placement.
