might be a silly question but can a Manitou lift a car?only ask as I have a scrap car in a tight spot and it'll need lifting out so thought i'd ask before a collar a farmer.

They tip in a shot if you are silly with them. If you're sensible, then not so much. I lifted an unhitched 28 ton trailer off the tractor unit it had slipped from with a JCB teleporter rated at 5 ton max lift. Easily ten ton on the forks and it dealt with it. It wasn't happy, but it did it.

Interesting one, you must be on the very limit. Were the back wheels starting to rise any bit?
