    Might be of some use to some of you, Health matters in Ashleaf shopping centre in Crumlin are doing peanut butter for 5.55euro a saving of 3 euro....Nom nom nom. Might be in other stores also.

    That's some bargain. Open with caution though! I bought 2 x 1kg for less than €20 from H&B in December and opened one without thinking last weekend. The container is a little bucket you have 'peel' the lid off to open. Peanut butter naturally contains oil, and the oil tend to segregate. So there is an oil slick on the top of the product, which splashed onto my floor and lovely suede slippers because of my pull and peel opening technique. The horror! So open carefully, save the oil and stir it back into the product. Tastes nice too.

    Yeah it happens, before I open a tub I turn it upside down and leave for a few days.
