The Interview

Just watched the interview. It was a very disappointing comedy with maybe two or three good lines.. I don't think that it would have become that popular if North Korea wouldn't have reacted

I only wasted those 112' knowing what kind of attention had been drawn to it, from crazy Korean hackers, terrorists threatening to bomb theatres to the US president himself. It simply failed miserably to deliver. Cheap humour, jokes and dialogues below criticism most of the time and the list goes on. Very predictable and flat story...

Meh. Watched it with my father anyway. He wanted to see what the fuss was. I got a great laugh at the start with the 'exclusive's' they were getting from the stars.

I was wondering if the FBI woman was Katy Perry, a lot.

I thought the first half of it was hillarious, 2nd half not so much

Typical and banal "bromance" fare. I think I laughed once. What was a fantastic satire opportunity was passed up to "play it safe". I enjoyed watching Seth Rogen's character
    having his fingers bitten off
but that was the height of it for me.

I enjoyed it. I'm a big fan of Rogen and his work so it was right up my street. While not the best film he has done, it was enjoyable and gave me plenty of laughs.

Watched it last night and thought it unfunny rubbish. Didn't like the James Franco character at all and the whole crap
    with the dog
    annoyed me no end.

I agree with another poster that I thought the agent looked like Katy Perry and the other poster who liked the moose knuckle joke. Otherwise a complete meh...

Lizzy Caplan has been in one or two things in the years in between the two. Shes quite famous you know.

A lot of similar enough comedies to this too...

Anyway as for the Interview, I really liked it, thought it was a bit satirical which went under the radar with some of the pop culture style mannerisms poking style at the new wave of 'journalists' around these days.

Obviously turning the whole North Korea thing into a joke isn't going to hit everyone who watches it but as a comedy I laughed a bunch of times which a lot of films these days can't provide.

"It's like a big, orange, stripey dog."

"The glasses are fake? that poor woman is blind as a bat."

    "You honey dickin!"

Needless to say, I quite enjoy Franco and Rogen :pac:
