British police are investigating over an alleged road rage incident between Roy Keane and a taxi driver in Manchester.

The 43-year-old former Ireland and Manchester United captain is said to have got into an altercation with the taxi driver in Altrincham town centre, which led to police being called.

A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: "At 11.30am, police were called to Ashley Road, Altrincham, to a report that a man had behaved aggressively towards another man.

I actually feel sorry for the guy sometimes. He's a bit mad I know but I know a few people that have met him and they said he was a nice fella just doesn't suffer fools.

I would honestly say the amount of people that want to start a row with him (and then run to court or the media) is off the scale.
